Soccer Player Aaron Ramsey Increases Incentive for Missing Pet in Mexico to £15k
Welsh athlete Ramsey has boosted the reward for leads regarding his missing canine Halo to £15k.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently plays for Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, revealed that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state area.
the dog, who disappeared on 9 October, was equipped with a GPS collar, and Ramsey shared a map pinpoint of the spot she vanished from.
"Any updates about our pet Halo kindly get in touch with us. Big incentive for finding her. We are all wishing she is unharmed and comes home to our side quickly," Ramsey wrote on Instagram.
Earlier Offer and Heartfelt Appeals
The footballer first disclosed that Halo had disappeared a fortnight back and has subsequently posted several photos of the cherished canine on Instagram.
A £7.5k bounty was first offered, but with no news on the dog's whereabouts after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones raised the sum.
"We just want our girl back," he stated in an additional appeal on his online platforms after the decade-old dog was lost.
A recent image share is a black and white image of Halo sleeping, her head lying in the bend of Ramsey's arm, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to embrace you one last time Halo."
Household's Anxieties and Background
The footballer has also shared a statement from his wife Colleen on online channels indicating they have some "serious questions" about the event and fear the family "could possibly not obtain answers".
"We still are still searching for Halo. I don't think we ever will," his wife's message expressed.
The Wales captain joined Mexican first division team Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and made his debut in Liga MX in August.
